Questions About Starting Therapy
How do I know if I'm ready for therapy?
There is no 'perfect' time to start. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or simply navigating a major life transition like pregnancy or early parenthood, therapy can provide the clarity and safety you need to move forward.
+
What if my partner and I need relationship support?
Our Gottman-informed couples therapy is specifically designed to address the unique stressors of the perinatal period, helping you and your partner strengthen communication, deepen connection, and build a resilient foundation for the road ahead.
+
Is telehealth effective for perinatal therapy?
Absolutely. We find that the convenience of telehealth removes significant barriers for parents with high-risk pregnancies or newborns, allowing you to access premium, specialized care from the comfort and quiet of your own home.
+
What should I expect during our first session?
Our first meeting is a gentle space for us to get to know each other. We’ll spend time exploring what brings you to therapy, your emotional history, and your goals, ensuring you feel truly understood and supported from day one.
